Archibald Psychotherapy offers trauma-informed, psychodynamic therapy across the UK. It delivers a confidential and compassionate space for adults navigating grief, anxiety, depression, intercultural issues, and relationship struggles.
The site follows a clear structure: a welcoming homepage, an About Me section, detailed services, a blog, resource links, and contact information. The brand identity is calm, professional, and inclusive—designed to reassure first-time visitors of safety and expertise.
The overall aim was to carve a space online that mirrors the supportive, reflective atmosphere of psychodynamic sessions. Every section was crafted to establish connection, build trust, and guide users toward booking a free 20-minute consultation, without overwhelming them.
THE PROCESS
We began by capturing the therapeutic tone: non-judgmental, thoughtful, and emotionally intelligent. The client emphasized the importance of safety, cultural awareness, and depth over quick fixes, and our design needed to reflect that ethos throughout the site.
IDEA GENERATION
We explored UK and US therapy websites to understand how therapists build trust online. Our goal was to balance warmth with professionalism—using soft colors, calm typography, and a layout that gently guides users from introduction to consultation.
RESEARCH & SKETCHING
We sketched wireframes for key pages like the homepage, services, blog, and contact. The design centered around a clear headline—“Supporting You Through Trauma, Loss, and Change”—paired with direct call-to-actions such as “Book Free Consultation.” Services were structured simply, with transparent pricing and session info. We also included blog and resource sections to build credibility.
PROJECT LAUNCH
The final site reflected a calm and welcoming tone. It introduced the therapist’s approach clearly, highlighted session details, and included GDPR-compliant contact and data pages. Blog posts and curated resources added depth, helping clients feel informed and supported even before booking.
PROJECT RESULT & SUMMARY
The site successfully created a digital equivalent of a quiet, empathic therapy room. Visitors quickly understand the therapist’s ethos, how sessions work, and how to start. Since relaunch, the site has received positive feedback for its clarity and tone. The free consultation CTA encourages engagement while maintaining a respectful, pressure-free approach. The online setup ensures that UK clients feel seen, heard, and ready to begin a healing journey before even clicking “Book”.
